June Liu, PT, DPT
June received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York Medical College. During her time in NYMC, June has treated patients in multiple settings ranging from orthopedic and neurology cases in a long-term living facility to outpatient orthopedic and wound care cases on an Indian reservation. June also has experience working with the elderly in their homes and children in an NYC elementary school. June is newly enrolled in Pacific College of Oriental Medicine to pursue her Masters in acupuncture. June hopes to one day integrate both fields of medicine to create a holistic treatment approach.
June is fluent in Mandarin. During her free time, June enjoys trying out new recipes, watching animated short films, and doodling with various mediums.
Samira Panjaki, PT, DPT
Samira received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University, where she spent her final rotation in the medical and surgical intensive care units at New York Presbyterian allowing her to partake in the early mobilization program for the most impaired patients at the hospital.
Samira is a lifelong learner and fitness enthusiast. Prior to moving to NY to pursue a career in physical therapy, Samira taught group exercise classes in Cambridge, MA. Samira’s fitness certifications including Certified Personal Trainer through NASM, Schwinn Indoor Cycling, Indoor Rowing, Mat Pilates, and Barre.
Samira’s love for outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine has led her to take post-graduate training in instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), and she has also trained at the Institute of Physical Art. Samira is interested in pelvic floor physical therapy, and in April 2018 she was certified through the Herman & Wallace Institute in Pelvic Floor Level 1.
In her spare time Samira enjoys taking spin classes and yoga.
